Prokopová, Johana ; Presslerová, Pavla (advisor) ; Voldřich, Michal (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on the contexts of aggression occuring in the lives of youth attending the youth clubs. This group of adolescents is considered to be at the risk of high-risk behaviour. The theoretical part describes the principles of youth clubs (NZDM) and the specifics of their target group and previous research. In the theoretical part selected developmental changes taking place in adolescence are described and last but not least this part focuses on aggression - theories of its origin, forms and functions. The empirical part of the thesis describes a research conducted in 8 youth clubs (NZDM). The first part of the research dealt primarily with the question of the level of aggression among youth attending youth clubs and the data collection was carried out through use of The Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ-SF). The second part of the research consisted of conducting semi- structured interviews also with youth attending these facilities. The thesis then describes findings that emerged from both parts of the research. In particular, the higher average scores of target group in the administered questionnaires are discussed, and thus the assumed higher tendency to behave hostile towards their surroundings. The findings are seen in the context of high rate of aggression taking place...
Laterality in social and locomotory behaviour of domestic pigs (Sus scrofa f. domestica)
Kunclová, Kristýna ; Špinka, Marek (advisor) ; Nekovářová, Tereza (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether pigs exhibit laterality in social behavior, especially the laterality of rotational movements in game behavior and social interactions. We aimed also to explore how this laterality is influenced by other factors, especially the possibilities of playful behavior in ontogenesis, personality and others social and non-social factors. Alternatively, whether the degree of laterality determined varies depending on the social situation (game / aggression) and whether is influenced by the litter. I have investigated this behavior for 64 pigs in 16 litters from videotapes of their social behavior. For each pig, I recorded the playing element and the preferential side. For individual game elements I did not find any preference for rotation at the population level and only a slight tendency for individual laterality. For social game elements, I have shown a weak population tendency to prefer left side, but only for a group of more playing pigs. The main contribution of this work is the symmetry found in the implementation of individual game elements and, on the contrary, the observed laterality at the population level for social game behavior. Since the laterality of playful behavior has not yet been investigated, it is possible that this symmetry is...

Hurníková, Linda ; Netík, Karel (advisor) ; Boukalová, Hedvika (referee)
The main focus of this thesis is to approach the issue of a criminal's (more specifically murderer's) personality, by means of forensic psychology. It is unfortunately not easy to explain why is one able to take another person's life. We on the other hand can gain a closer look to motivation and personal features, which can lead one to do so. The thesis focuses on knowledge of an official referee, which has been gain through a few recent years. The outcome data have been sorted out and eventually used to a criminal personality research. We've tried to map possible likeness of traits in behaviour, motivation and personal variables. A person's behaviour is, apart from the inner variables, influenced by outside factors as well. That is why this thesis pays attention to a broader area in a theoretical field of criminal engagement and criminal history. It offers a comprehensive picture of murder and factors, which influence it. Neverthless, the criminal and his personality remain the key factor. Key words: Personality, murderer, murder, crime, offender, agression, law
Interspecific agression of the common treecreeper \kur{(Certhia familiaris)} and short-toed treecreeper \kur{(Certhia brachydactyla)}.
MRÁZOVÁ, Anna
Interspecific agression is well studied in birds but without unamiguous summarized results. I observed responses of the degree of con- and heterospecific agression between European species of treecreepers, which are found in South Bohemia syntopically.
Mutual bullying among seniors in nursing home
ŠÍLOVÁ, Eva
The bachelor´s work concerns bullying among seniors at house with home care. Main aim and effort is proving whether bullying happens or not with qualitative research. Theoretical part points the fact, that bullying is much wider issue than it is introduced in many specialized sources. It describes origin, influences and types of aggresive behavior. It looks for relationships among aggression occurences and senior´s age and changes in old age. It also presents many terms like bullying in general, aggresion and aggressiveness, senior and old age, changes in old age and house with home care. Theoretical part makes effort to connect all mentioned above and lead the reader to recognition, that bullying is serious issue including seniors and facilities with home care and social services. Practical part examines, whether bullying really appears, what range, estimates victim´s and aggresor´s typology, most types of bullying and their frequency. It also offers subjective respondents´ overview with potential solution and origin of such behavior between seniors. Task of practical part is, except others, confirm of reject (or question at least) theoretical one. Aim of bachelor´s work is finding out, whether the senior´s bullying at house with home care really exists. If it does, then enable an insight into the issue (importance, requirements for next, more specific aimed searches and completely getting more interested). Mission of the bachelor´s work is to offer the impulse to potential solution, bullying monitoring or prevention among seniors not only at house with home care (in condition the assumption will be confirmed of course). Arising information from the work, should serve to both professional and non-professional public use.
Player strategies in pay-per-bid auctions
Cestr, Ondřej ; Svoboda, Miroslav (advisor) ; Hudík, Marek (referee)
This paper analyzes impact of concrete game strategies used by players on auction sites with pay-per-bid auction system, which spread to Czech market. In my analysis I use an individual aggression model, presented by Byers, Mitzenmacher a Zervas (2010). By using data sets of complete bidding records acquired from Bonus.cz I found that winners of auctions are much more aggressive than usual. Wide spread waiting strategy, which uses low aggression method is represented between winners only with less than 9%.
